What Is Salt Spray Test?

The salt spray test is an accelerated corrosion test to evaluate the anti-rust and corrosion resistance of metal stamping components, surface coatings and electroplating finishes. It is widely required by overseas buyers for automotive parts, home appliance hardware, electronic terminals and outdoor industrial accessories.

Common Types of Salt Spray Tests

1. NSS (Neutral Salt Spray)

2. AASS (Acetic Acid Salt Spray)

3. CASS (Copper Accelerated Salt Spray)
